Vegetarian and vegan options

The following options can all be eaten in a bap and work well for a hog roast only menu:

At £3.50 per head: branded - usually Linda McCartney - veg or bean burgers (vegan)

At £4.50 per head:

Falafels with tomato and coriander relish and humus and tahini dressing (vegan)

Homemade by us at £5.50 per head:

Individual frittatas: spinach, or courgette and parsley

Homemade veg and bean burgers with avocado and tomato relish (vegan)

The following options are more suited for a more formal menu. All homemade by us, from £6.50 per head:

Individual tartlets:
Roast red peppers and goat cheese
Asparagus and goat cheese
Spinach and feta
Mushroom, leek and mature cheddar
Roquefort, pear and walnut

Individual Spanish tortillas with potato, peppers and onions

Halved red peppers slow roasted in the oven, with cherry tomatoes, garlic and black olives, finished with goats cheese and basil.

Individual parchment parcel of peppers, red onion, vine tomatoes, fennel, baby potatoes, whole garlic cloves (or not as preferred) and other seasonal veg, thyme and rosemary sprigs, drizzled with olive oil and slow baked in oven.

Grilled Mediterranean veggie stack - aubergine, pepper, courgette - on a baked Portobello mushroom with grilled halloumi cheese and basil oil

Roast butternut squash and red onion, with goat cheese, thyme and balsamic glaze, toasted pumpkin seeds

Baked red peppers stuffed with herby tomato risotto served with black olive tapenade and basil oil (vegan)

Our excellent homemade lasagna made with Mediterranean vegetables, béchamel sauce, topped with parmesan and nutmeg

Likewise our really good homemade veggie cottage pie

Aubergine parmigiana: an Italian bake of grilled aubergines layered with herby tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, topped with crisped breadcrumbs

Sautéed leeks, or spinach, and mushrooms, topped with a Cheddar cheese and Dijon mustard sauce and a flaky pastry lid

Crispy mixed veggie cakes served with a spicy tomato, chilli and coriander salsa (vegan)

Spicy veggie chilli served with homemade guacamole (vegan) vegetarians can add sour cream . . .

Please note! Quite a few of the veggie options can be adapted for vegans.
We can use rennet free cheese for some of these dishes if requested.
